Day 1: Shimla - Narkanda (62 K/M 3 Hrs)
Meet and greet in Shimla, post which Introduction, Registration & briefing will be done by our crew. Now we will ride towards Narkanda and will reach around lunch. Now we will sit back and enjoy the sunset in the mountains over a cup of coffee followed by dinner at hotel.
Day 2: Narkanda - Sarahan (100 K/M 4 Hrs)
After an early breakfast we will be leaving for Sarahan. On Day 2, we will be riding about 100km and will have the first view of River Sutlej. We will reach Sarahan around Lunch time. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Sarahan – Kalpa (96 K/M 4 Hrs)
On Day 3, we leave after a leisurely breakfast to reach Kalpa which is nestled in the Sutlej River valley. It is a beautiful town and closer to the famous Reckong Peo. Dinner & overnight stay in hotel.
Day 4: Kalpa – Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa (140 K/M 6 Hrs)
After an early breakfast we will leave for Chitkul which is the last Inhabited Indian village Indo-china border in the Sangla valley. After visiting Chitkul we will come back to Kalpa by late in the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 5: Kalpa - Kaza (200 K/M 8 Hrs)
Our fifth day sees us enter the Spiti Valley, a cold desert mountain valley. "Spiti" means "The Middle Land", i.e., the land between Tibet and India. We visit the oldest Buddhist monastery in India, the Tabo Monastery. It is known for numerous frescoes that adorn its walls which depict tales from the Buddhist pantheon. We resume our journey and reach Kaza in the late evening.
Day 6: Kaza – Kibber - Chicham – Kaza (80 K/M 3 Hrs)
Kaza is situated along the Spiti river at an elevation of 3,650 metres. Kaza is overlooked by mountain ridges on all sides. Today is a rest day and we will explore the attractions in and around Kaza which are Chicham Bridge (Asia’s highest bridge), Hikkim Village (highest post office in the world), Komic Village (Highest inhabited village in the world) and the famous Key monastery.
Day 7: Kaza – Nako (115 K/M 4 Hrs)
After such a wonderful time spent in Kaza, post breakfast we will leave for Nako via Tabo. Nako is located near the Indo-China border in the Trans-Himalayan region of Kinnaur district, the convoy will reach Nako by evening. We will explore the small beautiful Nako lake and the stay will be at Nako village.
Day 8: Nako - Sarahan (175 K/M 5 Hrs)
After an early breakfast the convoy will leave for Sarahan. Sarahan is a tiny hamlet in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh.. It is the site of the Bhimakali Temple, originally known as Bhimadevi Temple. We will reach Sarahan by Lunch time and will spent the time to explore the local attractions.
Day 9: Sarahan - Shimla (160 K/M 6 Hrs)
After breakfast the convoy will leave for Shimla, we will reach Shimla post Lunch. This is going to be the trip’s last night in the mountains as tomorrow we will descend down to plains. Dinner & Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 9: Shimla - Chandigarh (115 K/M 4.5 Hrs)
Today is the last day of the trip and post breakfast we will leave for Chandigarh. This day brings us to the end of the trip with fond memories of the trip fresh on our minds and with a promise to meet again, we bid adieu to each other.
