Number of Cars : 17

Number of Participants : 33, including 15 Females 1 child and 17 males participants

LOW 2015: This edition, saw us start for the first time from a hotel conference room. Where we did all initial paper work. This time we also added a full medical van instead of just having a doctor on board. The group was amazing, we ensured people felt very comfortable. The drive was amazing as always with lots of nallahs over flowing, where crew had to get down in water and ensure convoy passed without problems. The direct route from Nubra to Pangong was the highlight, everyone just enjoyed it. We had a lot bonfire and song sessions where the people in group bonded with each other well.

Ladakh on Wheels - 2013

Ladakh on Wheels - 2013 was our first expedition. It was a small expedition of 4 to 5 cars mostly all friends. The idea was to understand the nuisances of making it all work. Our team and convoy crew had done numerous trips to Ladakh region before. Our local team is of people from this region only.

But when we are taking responsibility of taking so many people with us, we wanted to be really sure of things work out and, thus after numerous trips, including as convoy crew with for some smaller trips, we decided to take our own convoy. Thus was born Ladakh on Wheels. We went with friends and their families to test our waters.

We were always clear that this wont be just a road trip, but it should be full of lot of adventure activities also. Thus we threw on activities like paragliding, rafting, off-roading etc.

No of Cars - 4 (Pajero, 2 Scorpio and Innova)
No of Participants - 12 (4 Females, 2 child and 6 males)

Passage to Spiti - 2014 - (6th Sep - 14th Sep 2014)

Number of Cars : 4

Number of Participants : 12, including 4 females participants

Passage to Spiti : This was our first convoy to Spiti and hence it was important to see how a convoy would react to the raw lahul and spiti and we were amazed that to see that this place has an old charm about it. It is not a luxury trip, it for those who dare to do adventure. The hotel and camping was good and comfortable.

Testimonials

Testimonial: "I have been to Leh once, but this place is so amazing, and even more beautiful than Ladakh. I heard WA say that it more rustic than Ladakh and truly it is. It is not as commercialised as Ladakh. Hats off to Wanderers for making such a trip with such wonderful experience in this area. We went with them for LOW 2013 and this year to Spiti and they have always been amazing. Thank you WA Team"
